I’m Franklin Gaw and I’m an industrial design student at Carnegie Mellon University.
I recently got back from studying abroad at Design Academy Eindhoven in the Netherlands and am currently finishing my third year in Pittsburgh.
During summer 2011, I worked as an industrial design intern at Procter and Gamble (P&G), working in the skincare department in Cincinnati, OH. Currently, I'm looking for Summer 2012 Internship opportunities.

“9-year-old Caine Monroy spent his summer vacation building a DIY cardboard arcade using old boxes and parts from his dad’s auto parts store in East L.A.
Since business was slow, Caine didn’t get too many customers.
Until one day, when filmmaker Nirvan Mullick stepped into the shop and discovered the cardboard arcade, he decided that the world needed to meet Caine, and organized a flashmob to surprise him.”
A drawing club that is just starting up again at CMU called D.I.C.K. where we draw every Thursday with CMU Design friends. Started doing this logo as a joke for my friend Ethan, but ended up spending too much time on it :P
